LEED Registered Projects Showcase
For
those that are unaware, LEED project registration encompasses projects
that are in any stage of design development and construction while
pursuing LEED Certification. A project cannot be considered or
identified as Certified until the final USGBC project review has been
completed and Certification has been officially awarded by the USGBC.
This
means that LEED Registered status can apply to any project between the
earliest of development inception to the final USGBC review following
construction completion. Because of this, a typical project can be
categorized as Registered for a year, if not several years.
We wish the project teams all the best for achieving certification!
The
Chapter would like to extend an opportunity to its local members to
promote their registered projects, both in the State of Florida and
beyond. We welcome our members to create a project case study/fact
sheet including information such as:
1. Identifying LEED certification goal, if one has been established
2. Project client/owner
3. Design & construction team
4. LEED related and high performance building features, focusing on unique strategies and building program requirements
5.
Of course, exterior and interior photos, renderings, or reduced scale
floor key plans are encouraged to better highlight the project! Please also indicate the project schedule so the community can track its progress!
